Hi there! I'm Blake. I'm a software engineer and writer based in Brooklyn. I grew up in Richardson, Texas. I have degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Chicago. I currently work at Squarespace as a software engineer. Prior to Squarespace, I worked at Rockerbox for five years in product and engineering roles.

My interests include trekking, reading, writing, photography, and fitness. I used to be a competitive distance swimmer. I can frequently be found cycling in Prospect Park. I wrote and self-published a family history book called Lives and Fates that you can read on my blog.
